Founded in 1979 on the edge of Exmoor in Wiveliscombe, Exmoor Ales was one of the pioneer ‘Micro Breweries’ to stand against the onslaught of keg ale flooding the market from the big brewers.
Exmoor Ales
The farm prides itself on creating a relaxing, fun, and sociable atmosphere for visitors. We produce authentic Somerset craft cider made from our own heritage orchard and apples. The apple juice and cider are pressed and fermented on-site using wild yeast and a selection of heritage Somerset and Devon apples.
